Did You Know? - Since Jan. 1st, 2000, over 500,000 babies have been born with CDH. There have been enough CDH babies born to replace the population of Tucson, AZ. However, only half those babies survive, so it's more like the population of Ft. Wayne, IN.

Meet Our Cherubs!  - Jim Beau was born November 30, 2009 at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.  His intestines, spleen and a kidney were in his chest and he had only 10% of his diaphragm.  At a week old, Jim Beau underwent surgery to repair his diaphragm and spent 43 days in the NICU.   Now he is a happy 18 month old!   We had never heard of CDH before Jim Beau was diagnosed at the 34 week point in the pregnancy.  We are so thankful to CHERUBS for working so hard to raise awareness of this birth defect.
