Meet Our Cherubs!  - Meet Lucas James Cartner, he was 6 days old in this photo after just having his left sided CDH repair.Meet Lucas James Cartner, he was 6 days old in this photo after just having his left sided CDH repair.

When we found out at my 5 month pregnancy scan no one we knew had heard of CDH, it was one step at a time and constant worry, would he survive the pregnancy, the birth, the operation. He is 4 years old now and has never looked back since leaving hospital.

Lucas had a hospital checkup last month and the consultant said Lucas was leading the way for CDH research as 20 years ago he would not have survived. We know we are one of the lucky 50% and need to raise awareness of CDH so more CDH babies like Lucas can survive.Support Cherubs and please vote.
