If you haven't taken a look at our on-line photograph albums, they are worth the visit. We have over 2500 CDH families at CHERUBS and over 500 of them have uploaded their children's photographs. These pictures are a good representation of all the faces of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and how completely "normal" these kids look.... you could very well pass a cherub on the street and never know it.

"Stories of Cherubs Vol. II" coming out in time for the holidays! To submit your child's story you must be a member of CHERUBS & give publishing permission on your membership form. Then just e-mail your story and photo to membership@cherubs-cdh.org with your cherub's name and date(s) in the subject line. Submission deadline is October 15th!

Over 500 pages and 300 stories and photos of children born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Families tell tales of what life is like to have a child with CDH and to sometimes lose those children. Heartfelt and honest, these stories are a wonderful tribute to cherubs and their families. This book is must have for family members and friends who struggle to understand CDH as well as wonderful guidebook for new and expectant CDH parents.

Hi Everyone,

We're ready to start on our next newsletter and we need more stories of families who have dealt with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (survivors and those cherubs in heaven). Stories (and photos) will posted on our web site, in our Silver Lining newsletter and in the next edition of our book "Stories of Cherubs" due out this winter.

CDH on YouTube... chosen charity raising lots of awareness!

I have some really great news for us CDH families! YouTube has chosen CHERUBS as one of their chosen charities and they even sent us a brand new Flip video camera to help bring more CDH Awareness to their site! We will be using it at conferences and events and to interview CDH families. We are really excited about this because YouTube is a huge site and this will bring a lot of awareness to a lot of people! :)

Also, we are putting together several videos - including one for parents of newly diagnosed CDH babies that the doctors will be using. We are really excited to be working with the medical community to help expectant parents and to do this job right, we need your help! Please submit any videos that you want included to our YouTube site and our great video volunteers will be using those videos for the CDH Informational Video. The more CDH families that participate, the better, because all of our stories are so different. By the way, these videos will also be going to television stations as well! :)
