Brenda Johnson After 9 years of infertility, Jeff and Brenda finally became pregnant naturally. Their joy was cut short when their son, Taylor, was diagnosed with a left diaphragmatic hernia at his 20 week ultrasound and given less than 25% chance of survival. Taylor was born August 27, 2003, and had his repair at 5 days old. After 161 days in the hospital he was finally released with a G-tube and trach. He was decannulated at 21 months. He is now a healthy (almost) 7 year old and getting ready for the 2nd grade. Jeff and Brenda live in a suburb of the Minneapolis/St Paul area. They have been married for 16 years. They work together at a family owned business. Taylor has a 12 year old sister, Danielle, who is his best friend. |
